On April 8, the Alina festival, organized by the Alina Kabaeva Charitable Foundation, started in Sochi.
Athletes from 25 Russian cities, as well as from Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Uzbekistan and Cuba took part in the performances.
Such a large-scale event wouldn’t be complete without performances by famous artists like Oleg Gazmanov, Pelageya, Sogdiana, Dmitry Koldun, and the Vainakh and Beryozka ensembles performed on the same floor with young athletes.
Tickets to watch the Alina festival performances are traditionally free and are primarily distributed among children from orphanages and children with disabilities.
