Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva summed up the results of the Alina-2024 festival in Minsk.
“It is a great honor for me to open an athletic festival here, in Minsk, in Belarus, because I respect and really love the Belarusian school. This is one of the best schools in the world of rhythmic gymnastics. And it’s great that we had such a wonderful holiday,” the Olympic Champion said.
She pointed to the unity of the people of Russia and Belarus, and also thanked all the organizers of the international charity festival.
“Our traditions, culture, language, religion have the same roots, that is why we understand each other well. Once again I want to thank the organizers who helped us hold this wonderful holiday. And, of course, a huge thank you to the children, it really turned out to be an incredible holiday. The children put together a holiday for children. Thank you, everyone,” she said.
