"What they can do, both with and without apparatus, is incredible!" Choreographer Alexander Mogilev spoke about the rehearsals for the 2026 Alina Festival

Alexander Mogilev noted the high level of the performers in the performance and spoke about the main task when working with such a large number of strong gymnasts: 

"We are rehearsing a performance in which, it seems to me, the best of the best gymnasts are participating. Each of them is truly a star. A star in the good sense of the word, because what they do both with and without equipment is something incredible. But perhaps the nuance is that we need to bring them together into a single whole, and even those who perform individually must dance as part of the group.” And my task, again, is not to lose that individuality, and at the same time to make sure that at some point it’s synchronized, and at the same time to show and reveal the full potential of the girls, each of them. And I have, for example, 15 or 14, or 13, or 10 of them in one of the episodes. And all 10 of them are incredible."

The choreographer spoke about the internal drama of the performance: 

"Probably, the nuance lies in the fact that this is a large‑scale performance with an internal plot. And that’s what makes it special — each detail is part of a larger whole."
