"I am glad to welcome you!" Alina Kabaeva addressing Sky Grace Cup participants

Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva addressed participants and organizers of interregional Sky Grace Cup competitions in all federal districts.

"I am pleased to welcome you at interregional competitions staged by the Sky Grace International Association of Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs. The Association of Clubs is an independent international sports organization. Our objective is to promote and popularize rhythmic gymnastics across the globe. The Association with the support of the Russian Ministry of Sports is developing its rules, standards and requirements, holding competitions, and also organizing training for judges."

The Olympic champion also stressed that rules of the Sky Grace International Association enable gymnasts to better show themselves during performances.

"Our rules are more complex than rules of the International Gymnastics Federation but such high standard provides an opportunity for gymnasts to unlock their talents, demonstrate their personal touch and unique physical qualities, and show themselves. This is the only way how rhythmic gymnastics, our beloved sport, will become more interesting, spectacular and beautiful. I congratulate all the participants with the start of the competition! I wish everyone good performance and success! And real victories in the fair play!"

Qualification interregional Sky Grace Cup competitions in federal districts are being held in March. The best gymnasts will perform at the All-Russian tournament in the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy on April 11–14.
