May 9th is a special day for each of us. This year marks the 81st anniversary of the Great Victory.
The Great Patriotic War was a terrible ordeal for millions of people. Our people demonstrated incredible fortitude, courage, and resilience. Soldiers fought at the front, women, the elderly, and children selflessly labored on the home front, and together they brought Victory closer, defended the freedom and independence of the Motherland, and gave future generations a peaceful sky up above.
With deep respect and gratitude we remember all those who lived through the terrible years of war, defended the country, and, despite everything, maintained faith in Victory. It is our duty to preserve the memory of this great feat, pass on the truth about the war to future generations, and preserve our country's historical heritage.
