I would like to congratulate you and your loved ones on the day of Great Victory!
Today is a sacred day for all of us. The Great Patriotic War touched every family, came to every home, and now resonates in the heart of every citizen of our country. My grandfather also fought, was on the Leningrad front, drove a food truck along the Road of Life to the dwellers of the besieged city.
We owe our lives to those who forged the Victory every day, both at the frontline and at home.
The heroes of the Great Patriotic War gave us our future, and our task is to preserve the memory of their heroic acts and pass it on to the next generations.
We promise that we will always remember the cost of Victory. And we will do everything so that the lessons of that war are never forgotten.
