Words of gratitude from Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva to the organizers, participants, judges and spectators of the international Sky Grace Grand Prix competition.

"The international competition has ended in Minsk, with the participation of the winners of the All-Russian tournament, Belarusian national team gymnasts, athletes from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.

 

I am happy that an event of this magnitude took place in Belarus, in our fraternal country, which is famous for its excellent rhythmic gymnastics school. Thanks to the head coach of the Belarusian national team Irina Leparskaya and all the organizers who helped the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association in holding the competition.

 

On a side note, I would like to thank the head judge of the tournament, Ekaterina Belyavskaya, and all her colleagues for their honest and impartial work! One of the main principles of our Association is to evaluate gymnasts fairly, and solely on the basis of athletic merit. Thanks to you this has been made possible.

 

And, of course, many thanks to all the gymnasts and coaches! You provided a real holiday to the audience of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Palace and to fans of the most beautiful sport all over the world, who followed the performances live!
