Gymnasts from Donetsk began training at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy training camp. USSR Master of Sports and team coach Elena Dzamalova told what the athletes are preparing for in Sochi.
“All-Russian competitions will begin in October, so we want to participate as much as possible. We want to try out group exercises. We have put the programs together, now we need to work them out,” Elena said.
The coach also shared her impressions of the Academy conditions.
“It’s amazing, magnificent halls, hotel, park. It’s very good,” she said.
DNR’s Master of Sports Ekaterina Voevodicheva explained why training in these conditions is necessary to prepare for important competitions.
“I’m in a very good mood, since I can work out in such a luxurious gym. I’m really looking forward to very good results and I hope and know for sure that they will come. We will do everything much better and perform very well at the next competitions,” Ekaterina said.
The Alina Kabaeva Charitable Foundation invited Donetsk gymnasts to attend the Academy training camp, bearing all expenses.
