“Do everything from the heart” Coach Alexander Buklov about the Sky Grace Academy training camp

Three-time world champion in men's rhythmic gymnastics, master of sports in artistic gymnastics Alexander Buklov talked about how he came to work with young athletes at the Sky Grace Academy.

“At 15, I was accepted into men's rhythmic gymnastics. It was an experiment that Irina Viner and our Japanese brothers, the founders of this sport, did. So I got acquainted with rhythmic gymnastics. I began to understand the objects that boys have, and that the girls have are practically the same, they have physical properties and obey the same laws of physics. I became interested and began to delve deeper into the objects that only women use.  I have been teaching object study for many years now,” the coach said.

Alexander Buklov also revealed the secret of the unique training method that he uses with young athletes.

“I think that all brilliant things are indeed simple,  you just have to put everything in its place. I try to explain the same thing to children, that everything is not that complicated. Analyzing is a good thing too. And at performances, of course, you need to think less, do everything from the heart,” Buklov said.

Alexander Buklov works as an object teacher at the training camp, which takes place at the Sky Grace Academy May 15-21, with 36 participants from 16 Russian cities.
