"The impressions are very good." Yana Zaikina about the tournament in Saransk

Yana Zaikina from Volgograd, a student at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy, accessed the conditions at the All-Russian "New Generation" tournament in Saransk.

“The impressions are very good. The hall is so cozy, you want to go perform there,” the gymnast said. 

The gymnast, who placed fourth in the all-around among gymnasts born in 2011, summed up her performance. 

"I wasn’t very successful with the hoop this time.  I did it perfectly in training, I don’t know what happened. I didn’t seem scared. In clubs, I lost on skills and didn’t take the risk. I didn't lose it, but I just caught it. As far as the ball, by the way, I was very afraid to do it because it was new. But it turned out better than clubs. It’s probably due to the fact that I lost the mace, and I had to focus on a clean performance in order to qualify," Yana said.

The All-Russian New Generation tournament was held in Saransk, September 9-11.
