“We put together a good performance." Coach Alexander Buklov about Karolina Tarasova's program

Coach Alexander Buklov, a three-time world champion in men's rhythmic gymnastics, has taken part in choreographing a new program with a ball for Karolina Tarasova, an Academy student.

“Everyone needs to see their story. It is necessary to choreograph the exercise in a way that everyone can add something of their own in the end. I changed certain parts in a few places, changed the arrangement of elements. I rearranged the elements as I saw better fit, so it is more musical, convenient for Karolina, in the first place. So that it won’t take a long time to learn. At the same time, it should be spectacular, and look unusual,” he explained.

Buklov emphasized that the young gymnast is also actively involved in the makings of her program. “I told her that we will go in this direction, we will learn this pattern, and you will add something else from the heart, for example, with the core, the way you want. We want her to do it of her own free will, and with a great deal of interest,” he said.

Alexander also noted Karolina’s natural capabilities. “Talented people are complicated. But the result, of course, covers all the inconveniences in terms of synchronization. We’re all human, we all have to connect. I think that in these two days we perfectly matched everything together and made a good production,” he added.

Karolina is preparing for the international tournament in Minsk, which will be held in August.
