“My dream is to be an Olympic champion.” Youngest participant of the Academy training camp on goals in sports

Eight-year-old Evgenia Panina from Moscow is the youngest participant in the training camp at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy. 

Evgeniya told how she feels about taking classes with older girls and goals in rhythmic gymnastics.

“My dream is to become a coach and an Olympic champion. I am already used to working out with girls who are older. I’m friends with everyone, they help me, they tell me what can be done, how something can be fixed,” she said. 

The young gymnast also shared her impressions of the Academy.

 “If my mom was here, then I would like to stay. There is the sea here, the weather is good, the hall is good,” the gymnast said.

 The training camp for Moscow gymnasts will run at the Academy until September 1.
